– "Do you want to know? The Matrix is everywhere. It's all around us and even now, in this very room.

You can see it when you look out your window or when you turn on your television.

You can feel it when you go to work, when you go to church, when you pay your taxes.

It's the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth."

– "What truth?"

– "That you are a slave like everyone else, you were born into bondage. Born into a prison that you cannot smell or taste or touch. A prison for your mind.

Unfortunately, no one can be... told what the Matrix is. You have to see it for yourself.

The Matrix is a system, that system is our enemy. But when you're inside, you look around, what do you see?

Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we are trying to save.

But until we do, these people are still a part of that system and that makes them our enemy.

You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged.

Many of them are so injured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.

I'm trying to free your mind. But I can only show you the door.

You're the one that has to walk through it.

You have to let it all go: fear, doubt, and disbelief. Free your mind and welcome to the desert of the real."

Puedes ver el sistema cuando miras por la ventana o cuando enciendes Youtube, la radio, tu TV.

Puedes sentirlo cuando vas a trabajar, cuando vas a la iglesia o cuando pagas tus impuestos.

Es el mundo que tapa tus ojos para cegarte de la verdad".

- "¿Qué verdad?"

- "Que eres un esclavo como los demás y naciste en la esclavitud. En una prisión que no puedes oler, saborear ni tocar porque es una prisión para tu mente.

La Matrix es un sistema, ese sistema es nuestro enemigo. Y cuando estás dentro, miras a tu alrededor, ¿qué ves?

Empresarios, profesores, abogados, carpinteros. Las mentes de las personas que estamos tratando de salvar.

Hasta que lo hagamos, estas personas siguen siendo parte de ese sistema y eso los convierte en nuestro enemigo.

Tienes que entender, la mayoría de estas personas no están listas para ser desconectadas.

Muchos están tan acostumbrados, tan dependientes del sistema, que lucharán –incluso– para protegerlo.

Estoy tratando de liberar tu mente y sólo puedo mostrarte la puerta. Eres tú quien la puede atravesar.

Tienes que dejarlo todo: el miedo, la duda y la incredulidad. Liberar tu mente e ingresar al desierto de lo real."
